Dual Language Program
Tierrasanta Elementary School is pleased to offer a 50/50 Dual Language Spanish Immersion Program from Kinder through 5th Grade! Students entering the program in 2nd-5th grades must be native Spanish speakers or transfer from a Spanish Immersion School. A commitment letter must be signed during registration. Each new kindergarten class will still have an English only strand available for those not interested in Spanish Immersion. The Spanish immersion classes are taught in a team teaching setting with half of the day taught in Spanish and half in English. If you are interested in Spanish Immersion for your student for the 2025-26 school year, please indicate your interest on this form. Kinder-5th grades only. Please note we do not currently offer Spanish Immersion for UTK.
SPANISH IMMERSION INTEREST FORM
Due to the high level of interest in the Immersion program, priority is given to those registering at their neighborhood school site. Neighborhood enrollment does not guarantee placement in the Spanish Program. Students who have Choiced in will only be considered for the Spanish Immersion program if space is available after neighborhood families have enrolled.
All families should make sure to complete the 25-26 Spanish Immersion Interest form to be placed on the list for consideration in the next school year. Students are accepted on a First Come First Served basis and submissions are time stamped.
